(7/16/07) VRDC Passes Congestion Pricing Resolution

Congestion pricing, an issue which has of late been hotly debated, came to the forefront of the VRDC's docket over the past several weeks.

The VRDC today passed a resolution indicating its support of legislation currently being considered by the New York State Legislature to implement a three-year pilot project for congestion pricing for Manhattan.

In doing so, the VRDC joins forces with several other downtown clubs, and with Transportation Alternatives, which will present the collective resoultions to the Speaker.
